So even tho it is meant for running, if it has a signal, it will give you speed and distance covered, which is a basic feature of just about every GPS. FYI comes with a mount for the bike I may not be fast....but I get it done, always

Cadence???

Yes GPS is GPS and you should see your true 48 mph. Speed is relevant with heart rate.

Yes, from riding down a bluff in Wisconsin. I did the same thing and my max speed was 51.1 riding down a bluff by my dads house...

Ceramic bearings could get you to 55 for sure.

Beef, if she trains this year, she will. She will be doing her first Xterra off road tri this year also. Hopefully she keeps at it. That will be cool to see everybody out there.
