Atkin's Diet

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone tried to be an the Atkin's diet?? Did it work, and what helped you lose the weight??

Did it, droped 20 pounds. Works, really tough on your body if you do not eat right(Fiber and water intake). Also you have to keep up with the supplements.

It also gets old, I love rice, potatoes, bread and pasta. You cannot have those. It has gotten easier since more restaurants now have carb stuff, but still. During the induction phase, you have to suffer IMHO.

There are better ways to lose weight, tons of good advise if you read around this forum.

I did MY version of the Atkins diet, started last December, the induction phase is tough, especially if you are a rice and pasta lover. Lock yourself at home for the induction phase, cause you'll be a bear, and give up alcohol too. I have loss 35lbs, but I'm also working out 5 times a week, drink plenty of water......and good luck.....oh benefits of dieting and working out, the MILF's at the Jewel in Barrington are hitting on me The wifey is making me wear my wedding band now, she said I was enjoying the attention a little too much
