Seattle Sutton ?? Anyone try it ?

I am thinking of trying Seattle Sutton... not at all for the Weight loss part of it, my body is already HOT HOT HOT ... NOT Hahahaha.. but for the Healthy Eating part. Now that wifey and I are seperated, I find it hard to eat properly and eat healthy ? I checked into it and it is only like
$4.70 a meal... 3 a day . 7 days a week . Hell I could save alot of $$$ eating like that. Now that is only 1200 cal a day, but the Beer can make up the rest.. Any thoughts ?

My brother did it and he loved it. Lost about 20 pounds w/o even trying and actually saved alot of money and time not having to worry about meals.

Yea that is my idea... not worrying about cooking meals and shopping for the food. The $$$ savings is a bonus

My X did it after the 1st kid. Since she was already at it I at it too for a meal a day or so. I thought it tasted OK, not great but OK. Needed tobasco or something. They kept if pretty varied too. Unfortunately, I was always hungry. Now this goes back something like 13 years and at the time I was eating about 4,000 cals a day and not able to put weight on. Times change. Let me know what you think, as I was thinking using it plus shakes for a 12 week program.

Yeah, not the best tasting stuff. There are a few meals that I really liked though. Eating good does not always mean the best tasting stuff though. I was eating it for a year or so. I had the 1600 cal. + 3 glasses of milk for about 2k cal. I did not lose any weight, and I supplemented it with a power bar/protein shake or two a day.

It is lower fat, sodium and cholesterol than is recommended.

It does not hurt to try it though. $100/wk is nothing.

I eat better when the wife is not around, or the kids. Last night on my own, soup, a big salad with tuna, and a michigan apple. I don't like the idea of someone preparing my food, that's why I rarely eat out. I have the European influence, I'm at the grocery shopping everyday, that way everything is fresh, unfortunately my wife things veggies come from a can, or from the freezer

Cool

I've also thought about this for weight loss and nutrition/convenience.

But that's all it's been so far is a thought. If anything try it for a week or 2 and see what you think of it or do you have to sign up on some contract ordeal?

I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin', and hook up with them later!!

If you normally eat a lot you'll need a strong will to stick with the program. There is a guy on it here on the night shift. We affectionately call him 'The crying fatman' because he bitches and complains about everything.. and well.. he's fat. He says the SS food IS good, but it's never enough. Typically he has the recommended meal for dinner and two runs to Burger King or McDonalds.

So why even bother doing the diet with prepared foods if you're going to eat at BK twice a night???? -- Your guess is as good as mine.

Well most fat men eat alot to begin with, so what not enough for him, maybe fine for me. Like I said this is not about Dieting for me... I am not fat or need to diet, just looking for a more nutritional way of eating, and if it is aleady heat and eat... sounds good to me.

Aww, now you made me feel guilty. The wife was out last night and I picked up food on the way home. Just a giant gyro's plate smothered in sour cream. So I guess I work the other way around. The wife splits and I take the opportunity to pig out. Man, I can still taste it.
