Has anyone tried this.........

My heavy bag is falling apart, it's 7 years old, it's wrapped in duct tape, "D" rings are tearing away, and I want to get the "Slam Man" which is basically a computerized punching bag or figure that you fill with sand. I have seen it in the "shop" of American Chopper, and I can get on brand new for $179. Has anyone tried one? Is it a "toy" or do you think it would last 7 years like my "dumb" bag? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Rick

I had one for awhile, actually my brother still has it if you want to stop by and try it out for a bit... its more of a finess(sp?) thing. but you can beat on it hard if you want.... its plastic and weighs a ton with the sand in it. good thing it was a downstairs move.... not really good for kicking as its plastic and doesn't really give much.

Great workout..

i have a pole pad. you don't have to worry about it taking up space and is less expensive than a heavy bag. here is the link http://www.zebramats.com/

I'm sooooooo pissed!!!!! Just got an email from Walmarts.com, they canceled my order!! because of backorders from the manufacturer, piss, shit, fuck!! Two gifts I really wanted for Christmas I'm not getting! The Faster DVD and T-shirt, is MIA, they took my money and never sent, or it got lost, and Walmart cancels this order, FUCKKKKKKKKKKK. I pity any fool that gets in my cross hairs today, I'll make them a new asshole! FUCK!
