Dietary Supplements

Anybody taking any diet supplements that work??? Just curious after the demise of Ephedra if there is anything out there that works for people??

Just when someone says suck my d*ck that's when it's time to try vitamins and less fat in your diet or something.

Creatine works great! I used it when I was deep into lifting but didn't want to be like Hulk Hogan. It cut me pretty good but diet is mostly important. You don't see the abs if the intact of fat is high.

You can still buy whats left of ephedrine supplies on the web. I just ordered some Exenadrine RFA-1 like two days ago.

Watch out when taking these stimulants. Many of the new stuff available is MUCH stonger than ephedrine. I never had any problems with ephedrine but I tries some of this Ephedra free stuff and my f*ckin heart rate was 140 at rest!!! I can only imagine what it was when I was actually working out before I got home and took my rate. So my advice is to get a mild stimulant first or take half the dosage until you find out how your body reacts. Also if yo buy from "the Vitamin shoppe" they take the stuff back even after you use some of it. Store credit only but still not a bad deal. The place is pricey but dind out what works and then shop online for a better price on you 2nd bottle. For the record the stuff I took was Optimum Nutritions "Adenergy" stay away from that crap.
I would give Twinlab’s Ripped Fuel Ephedra Free. Used it in the past and it works well without smokin' your heart.

Like Chris said, Creatine is a great supplement. However, in order to get the full effects, you HAVE to workout, for it aids in muscle recovery. Simply taking it and sitting on the couch is not going to do anything.

Also, do you get enough protein? When I analyzed my diet, I was amazed how little protein I was consuming. When I supplemented my diet with protein shakes, lean meats, etc, I noticed that I was able to increase my muscle mass and strength more efficiently.

Hmmm.....eat less exercise more! What I have been taking as supplements, B12, a multi vitamin for people on lower carbs, and Tonalin CLA which claims "to help you reduce body fat and increase muscle rentention" All I can say is B12, makes me way too hyper and I want to rip someones head off if they piss me off. My opinion is most supplements are designed to seperate you from your money and hurt you overall health, of course that is my opinion and have no solid evidence to back it up.

Sometimes goodbye is your second chance.
