So I was gonna post here yesterday

..because I was having some serious abdominal pains when I woke up. I thought it might have been constipation or something because I've never had and wasn't sure if that's what it felt like. Couldn't hold anything down either. So here I am sitting on the toliet like a jackass about to blow an o-ring for most of the afternoon when I finally realize it's probably something worse and should have it checked out.

Wouldn't you know, here I am 12 hours later minus an appendix.

BTW, that's a pain I wouldn't wish on anybody except for Bin Laden, it's horrible. I'm just glad I got it checked out early enough, I'm supposed to be on a flight to London on Thursday. Talk about shitty timing, but the doc says it'll be okay by then.

Heal up fast!! Let us know if you need anything. Is an apendix an outpatient thing these days?? Or where you in the hospital for a bit? Are you still going to London?

That's one way to lose some weight, PJ. Just have an internal organ removed.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

PJ called your OK, my younger brother had his burst, cause he put it off to long, he was intensive for a couple of days.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

Glad your OK, like others said earlier, if you procrastinate, it can be much worse regarding severity and complications including nasty infections...........Heal up soon!

If I had waited and it burst, I would have been in the hospital all week and missed the trip. Since I had it checked out right away, I was in the hospital at 6pm, had the surgery by 10, finished at 11, and out of the hospital by 4pm the next day and should be able to go on the trip

Thanks guys

BTW, I did that with a kidney stone before I figured out what it was. No fun.

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.
