Anyone want to start a running group? :)

I need a partner/ partners to go running with. Anyone near Romeoville/ Plainfield that want to get into shape? I belong to Xsport Fitness in Bolingbrook. But lately I've just been running on my own and/or lifting weights. I have to keep up with push ups and sit ups in the mil. and it would be awesome to have some people to work out with or run with. No pervs please......hahahhaha.

Thanks, though. It helps to know people out there are running!!
Yeah so anyone that wants to do some running, there are cool trails by Plainfield/ Romeoville area. You don't need to be able to run fast or far. It would be fun.... PM me if you're interested so we can coordinate!! Nights would be best unless you want to start running at 0430AM. Or sleep in and start at 0600. Oh better yet, if we have military people here to run with me and help me along, that would sure be appreciated too. I need a Drill Sergeant to push me harder this time around....... cuz laziness can cause points.

Sure, you're in Crest Hill, pretty close. Geewiz wants to do it too so maybe all three of us can coordinate something. Nothing too strenuous then work our way up then we start timing it....

Pale Rider and I work out on Tues/Thurs/Sun @ Lifetime Fitness in Bloomingdale from 10pm - 12/1am. We run a couple miles, and hit the weights for an hour , and then shoot some hoops. We prolly could switch over to the Naperville location if you were interested.

Apparently, someone on this site has a sister that owns XSport.

Do you guys run fast? How many miles? I ask bec. most guys run a lot faster than I do!! hence why I need to improve my running.... I work in Naperville and live in Plnfield. Thats a little too late for me 10-12AM. I get off at 5:30PM and usually work out anywhere from 7-9 or 10PM. PM me if you guys wanna hook up. I'll run with ya.

I ran 5 miles yesterday and didn't feel tired. I had to quit because I was on my lunch break. I'd run with you if you want to meet somewhere between Plainfield and Naperville. I'd love to have someone to run with. Running alone gets boring.

[email protected] potato peeler, thanks Ken.

I had 4 MOS's in the army, I did National Guard, Reserves, but I spent most of my time on Active duty. I can actually run farther now that I'm out. I'm training for a big mountaineering expedition next year.

Chills,

I normally run on Tuesdays and Thursdays at noon during the week. Sometimes right after work as well (no scheduled day though).

Butterfly74,

Usually run on the lakefront most of the time. Will be putting in 11 miles this Friday evening. If you are ever by the lakefront let me know.

Oct. 9 is fast approaching
