MTB vid

This is got to be the best clip of Northshore riding I've ever seen. Awesome camera work.

here's the trailer for the movie that clip is from, shows a little of how they got some of the shots. I'm buying this film.

You want to jump off a cliff on a bicycle??

There's not too many cliffs around here. We used to terrorize the walking paths in Palos, by the lab over there, but I hear they are putting a stop to that.

That was pretty cool. I love the forest they are in. I also thought it was funny that the only shot of him going uphill he was pushing his bike.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

There are downhill courses that are pretty extreme. I've been to one race here in WI at Alpine Valley area a couple years back. I think they run it each year. They have a variety of events/races, not only downhill.

There is CPX in Joliet, about 5 minutes away from Autobahn Country Club.

http://www.cpxsports.com/modules.php...article&sid=17

I've seen the northshore layout there a couple of years ago, it goes from mild to insane.

Palos has some places that you can kill yourself pretty easy.

They make the action look almost unreal. The sport has come a long way to have that much time and money invested in it to shoot a film. Can you imagine the logistics of getting all that equipment out there and setting it up.
