What supplements do you take?

Just wondering what supplements you take and why? Do you cycle on or off? Are there some you stay away from?

I use whey, but I try to get the majority of my protein from real food. Also a multi-vitamin. Beyond that I don't use anything.

I take Flax Seed Oil and a multi-vitamin every morning each for its obvious reasons! Potassium in the form of bananas/etc is good as well it is a natural supplement! I suppose supplements is more of a personal thing, some things may work for some people, and not for others. FlaxSeed/Multi-vitamins are key though, regardless of what your doing, imo.

You don't need much more then that, unless your trying to really bulk up. At which point a lack in a strong eating habit will make you want to take some form of a protein shake . I generally don't buy protein supplements unless im short on money to buy the 5-6000 calories of food I need per day with enough protein I need per day. Stay away from protein bars, their garbage

Most of the other stuff you see on shelves may be helpful, example NOxplode something everyone and their dog takes, It gives the effect of basically caffeine, but soon as you cycle off most of the gains you see will dim down, although I guess you could argue if you could lift more on it, then you will get stronger. But then again if your lifting properly for what you want to do you should be seeing max gains anyway.

NESBA - Seems to be missing, can someone direct me where to find it?

18 year old pussy gives me the boost I need to get the most out of my workouts.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

I take fish oil and vitamin C on a regular basis (need extra C as a smoker). In the winter I add E, sometimes also take D & B. Every once in a while - ginseng or a similar booster. In summer and in general - just some multivits.

For the record, I would take over 10 supplements a day about a year ago. None of them increase heart rate or were labelled as dangerous. While I was taking them, I felt as though I had more energy to work out (more stamina) and I felt great.

Here's what I took:
L-carnitine
Acetyl-L-Carnitine
ALA
CLA
Chromium Picolinate
L-Tyrosine
Fish Oil (pharmaceutical)
Borage Oil
Centrum Silver
Vit-B12
CoQ10
Creatine

I've thought about getting back on it, but I think I can attain the same results without the cost. I will still take the Fish Oil, Borage Oil, vitamin, and CoQ10, and Creatine though.

Has anyone taken CE2 (Creatine Ethyl-Ester)?

CE2 is the way to go. I never responded well to Creatine in the past, but I've been using VPX CEX and ALRI Ngorge (CE2 products) and they've been working surprisingly well.
Combine that with whey and good diet and training, and that's all you need. A little bit of Winny never hurt though

I eat a big piece of beef before I try to increment up the first time. Say I'm gonna boost my main set that day by 10lbs I'll eat a steak at a late lunch and have at it after work. I don't take anything else, just eat beets and carrots when I can. The way I see it, all the crap they inject into beef, I'm getting all kinds of stuff, even some steroids I bet.

From what I've heard, CE2 is the same as monohydrate, but without all the dextrose. When I took the monohydrate, I saw gains, but all the dextrose upset my stomach. Plus, some of the powder tasted like shit. Since I was never one to let things go to waste, I've started back on the monohydrate, but I'm about ready to give up on it and take the CE2.

I didn't at first. I went to the 100% after about 2 weeks of trying to down the shit. I still have stuff left over and I don't want it to go to waste (I know, it's dumb). Also, I didn't see/feel the same effects with the 100%. I think it was due to not having enough of an insulin spike to take the creatine in. At least that is how I remember it working...I could be wrong.

Brands: Whatever is sent to me free, given as samples, etc... If I have to buy then either Optimum Nutrition or stores like Vitamin Shoppe often have their own brand which is the cheapest.

Dosages: 1 multi per day, 5 grams or more of okg/akg, 3-5 grams l-carnitine

I had heard that creatine slows the healing process down in injured athletes. Not sure if it is true. But I have chosen to stay away from creatine. Just Whey for me. And I see a lot of gains from that and hard work, plus depending on my diet at the time.

multi vitamin is general, okg assists with growth hormone (must take large quantities), and l-carnitine is weight loss/energy

Don't think creatine reduces the healing process nor can I think chemically of why it would. Best supplement is the hard work part like you said
