Disclaimer to Women!!!!

Lifting weights will not make you "get big or bulky"!!!!!

Why do so many women think it is sooo easy to get big or bulky from just lifting some weights on occasion? If it was that easy for women to bulk up, men would be taking the Birth Control Pill instead of steroids to get big.

Disclaimer over.

the only people that accidentally get too muscular are those who are genetic freaks and those who are accidentally on the juice.

And why are soo many women afraid of a little muscle tone? Speaking of jessica biel (since that thread was recently revived) I think she was at her hottest when she was working out for the Blade 3 role.

"I don't do squats because I am afraid my butt will get big"

Duh! I love lifting weights...although I don't lift enough. It just burns more calories when you are sleeping! Whoo Whoo! Plus, my arms get some definition if I am consistent!

Sometimes you just can't drill it enough for women to understand it. My friend thinks that doing curls with 5 pounders is going to give her massive guns. I just think to myself, "and what is wrong with that?" LOL.

At the risk of making someone limp...

I'm gonna go on record saying that I love lifting weights, too. (Although I don't do it nearly as often as I should.) Working out without lifting is too much of a commitment - it consumes far too much time. Girls can build a decent amount of muscle lifting, but that's never really been an issue for me because I was always in sports growing up (so always muscular). If a girl wants to fit into the Hollywood stereotype 2x4 body frame, she can't do it by lifting weights. So perhaps there's your answer for the logic behind the thought. Not that I agree with it.

Too big oh noez you eat too muchorz.

Lifting weights and worrying about getting too big is like worrying about going to work because you will get too rich.
