CLSB Fitness

LOL... This forum is getting a lot of traffic lately. I am glad to hear that a lot of CLSBers are health conscious. I think it would be cool to use this thread to post up your goals and see if there is others on CLSB with similar goals that are willing to partner up and support one another. I am talking like running groups, basketball groups, lifting groups, etc. Maybe form a mailing list and what not.

Sorry if this comes across lame to some people, but for me, exercising is my primary form of fun and entertainment. So I do take it seriously and like to share the enjoyment with others.

My Goal: Agility

- I have done the power lifting and getting huge thing and it is more of a pain (literally) then it is worth to me. I am still fairly young and want to take advantage. I am going for agility, basically want to be as strong and as quick as possible. I like to do plyometrics for legs, superset my weight training and encorporate a good amount of higher intensity and resistance cardio (stairs, sprints, hills, etc.)

What about the rest of you????

+1 to that. Not everyone is built to lift.:

Endurance via running and minimum resistance. A marathon would be nice sometime... I'd have to give up riding the moto though, that training takes too much time and energy!!

flexibility.

I have runners knee, diagnosed as due to lack of flexibility. I want this resolved. This is high on my list of goals.

Toned.

Drop the extra weight (and i have plenty!), i lift right now but id rather my goal be toned/ripped than huge/ripped, like Brad Pitt in fight club

My wife is a marathon runner, way too much commitment for me. I do like shorter races and adventure races we just did this one last sunday.

Been working a lot on flexibility and running.

I like Pavel

Still working on weight loss that is going well down almost 40 from when I started.

Just want to be able to to turn consistent 8 min mile for a 5k even though I will never run one.

Weightloss. Don't care about getting big, just being fit/toned/ripped. As stated in the other thread, i'm down from 167lbs to 151lbs, just need to get rid of the bottom pouch. As of right now, the 4 pack is showing and the crevice between the chesteses/sternum area looks like the grand canyon. HAHA i love it.

I've been running 3 miles a day.
This might not be the best routine but I do chest and and shoulders M/W/F
I do back and arms T/Th
I run everyday and do 100 crunches when I can :-0
Been taking vitamans (independently, no multi-) C, E, B-Complex, Fish Oil.
Recently started taking Creatine and T-Bomb II

I started May 15th. Weighed in at 215. Today I'm 185.

Weakness: I tend to eat a big lunch after working out. I eat oatmeal, fruits for breakfast. Little or no dinner. I can't seem to cut beer and tequila out of my diet though!

I have cut soda and all sugar drinks out of my diet.
Goal: I want to be defined and look my best.

DAMN I'M SEXY!

Yes, I'm fully aware of the causes and did about 6 weeks or so of PT too. My leg strength in the area is pretty good actually but my flexibility is awful. As both get better my distance before pain gets greater. I'm working on it, thanks for the post!

Wow I like the response already, seems like a lot of us have similar goals. It would be cool to get together and do some exercise in groups. Biking, jogging, hills, track sprints, etc. I would be willing to organize a time and place if people are interested. Let me know.

Need to get back into some kind of routine. I miss working with a trainer and I'm not motivated and get bored working out on my own, so my gym membership has been a waste of money each month for a while now.

This is one of those times when joining a message board in the wrong city does me no good.

I need to get more strength back into my legs to support my joints which are all taking a beating playing soccer. Knee pain from falling on them too many times, and bursitis in my hips. Ankles hate the hard ground we play on, and the shock of it gives me cankles. Attractive! No. My knees and hips start hurting by the end of 8 lap motorbike races too.

Weightloss would be a side bene, and it'd be nice to drop a couple sizes too, but I'm honestly more interested in pain management, health, energy level, and be more competitive in my hobby sports.

I'm slowing starting to get back in the gym. My goal is to gain about 10-15 lbs. I'm 5"6 and at 140 lbs right now. I want to get toned and some definition. Lost about 20 lbs. from everything that's been going on so now I need to get back into things.
Work out at Lifetime.

It'll get tougher once you have your first child. I can't even start working out until all my kids are off to bed and then I still get interrupted when one of them wants Daddy. But, still gotta do it so I don't turn into a mouth breathing, pizza eating, fat slob's ass that my kids will be embarassed to call Daddy in front of their school friends.

you know you spend your youth honing your skills so you can last more than 30 seconds you finally get it perfected.

Then you get married and you wife gets mad if you go longer than 3o seconds.

I would really like to lose about 20-25 pounds, but the clothing size and how my clothes fit is what really means more to me than what I weight.

I would like to focus on losing some fat around and really toning up my abdominals and arms...I would love to be able to do a couple pull ups too!

Let me tell you a story....

you, me and Heesh were driving along and got stopped by a police officer for excessive speeding. The policeman was in a funny mood and told us that if our dicks measured up to 21 inches, that he wouldn't arrest us. I figured hell no problem. I got it covered. Pulled my pants down and down came my limp dick measuring 10 inches. I look over at Heesh and say.. it's all you homie. He whips his dick out and it measures 9 inches. Heesh and I both look at you and say we got this. You pull you dick out and it measures 2 inches long allowing us to not get arrested. As we leave the police officer, I say.. man you're all lucky my dick is 10 inches long limp! Heesh says.. for real.. lucky as hell my dick is 9 inches long. Flounder says.. hell yeah! You're all lucky I popped a boner!

moral of the story?? Big dicks that nut quick like mine not only get you choice poontang but it gets you out of trouble with the law!
