I'm more inclined to do this one: http://www.bigblueadventure.com/pub/...PageName=INTRO

But yeah, I'll do one in IN if you want. Although, we need to find some sponsors here or my bank account is going to dissappear!

Um, yeah, Nevada isn't in the budget for a triathlon. Maybe a CLSB team?

I doubt CLSB will be sponsoring anything.

I'll more than likely be in NV then anyhow. The Iowa one wouldn't be bad either. Near Cedar Rapids

Not bad, but no info on the site yet for that location. One I'm for sure doing is May 23rd in Michigan. It's a Sunday, and in between a couple WORS races, and early in the year. Perfect. I was thinking about doing the Galena one that weekend, but it was on a Saturday which wasn't the best, plus I heard that water is buttfuck cold! I'm gonna plan on this one for sure.

That's only a couple hours away. I wasn't committed to Galena anyhow. Let me talk to the boss about it, but I think I could do this. I'll have to be careful with my ankle though on the trail run. If I roll this thing again, I'm done!!

Same with me, after breaking my ankle I have 7 bone chips still in there, and they are weak as hell. I will be very careful on this one.

I'm sure all the other XTerra triathletes will post up once they take a break from training. Hells no, I gotta watch my Ps and Qs this year moneywise. The CP dynasty is struggling and the Krebs estate is crumbling! Plus if I'm going to NV it's not gonna be in the summer!

I've gone late August for the past 4 years. It's hot!!! 4500ft climb would be brutal!! I'm usually more inclined to sit by the "adult pool" and drink citronade while taking in the scenery!

You should form a team and race again. That way you could clean up big time with contingency money!!

Oh hell no. You either spend a little or you spend a lot racing. Triathlons are cheaper.

True...but I've seen some slick road and tri bikes worth more then my GSXR :P

As much as you are trying to swim I'm trying to run. God just designed me with flat feet

Hopefully my new tri bike will be one of them. Stay at it, when I started running last year it seemed to take forever to get acclimated to it, but it will happen.

May 23rd, cool.

CLSB is acting funny, when I click New Posts it says the threads I've read are still un-read, so I have to go through everything again from the beginning.

Damn there are some fast dudes in that. I'll be shooting to finish decent, and that's about it. To be honest, I will have the most trouble with the run I think. 6 miles is the most I've ever run in my entire life, and not at race pace, let alone on a trail. I'm gonna smoke that bike course though, assuming I survive the swim.

you noticed that huh?

I can't believe nobody in my age group took more than 16 minutes for the swim!!! Last time I did a try I only did a little more than a 1/4 mile in 10 minutes. And that was in a pool!!

Good news is that it won't be crowded in the transition area when I come in from the swim. BTW, how do people do that? They have to take off a wetsuit, dry off, put on socks and shoes and shirt, all in 30 seconds?
