Missing Threads in multiple forums

So I have noticed a few times now that when I go into a forum there is an abnomally low number of posts. For instance the Dirt Bike Alley has over 1800 threads and I can only see less than 1 page. The NESBA forum only has 3 threads and 3 stickied threads. I assume it is just me since no one else is saying anything. I am using MS Internet Explorer. Any clue what could be causing this or what I can do?

I never seen that option before. I rarely change the default settings and wondered why I always lost posts in the winter time when activity drops. Thanks
