what do the green dots mean anyway?

back when you first put the green rep dots in, it was a sign of something if you had xxx / yyy number of green dots, however now adays it seems like everybody and there brother has 8 or 10 (what ever the max is) of green dots.

The following is just a suggestion. Maybe you could adjust the scales so that the number of rep points required to get xx number of dots was higher, so that those users with alot of rep would still have 8 / 10 dots, but people like me that generally have very little useful things to add will have representative number of dots again...

At least add more comments to the rep system. I've been at Walks on F&?king water, No shit!!! for a while now.

Some suggests are:

King Kong ain't got nothing on this guy

He's so cool, I'd let him f%?K my sister.

Must be throwin it to Mother Theresa

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

Ken,

I think the point is that nobody cares about the green dots anymore because everybody already has 10 of them. If you or tony adjusted the scale for the amount of rep points required to achieve the max 10 dots again, then maybe it would mean something to people again. It was a big deal the first time it was put in place...

the points system is nothing more then a feature that was added into the system during upgrades. in fact we disabled it.

if it was on, it would allow members based on the points system to allow a member to be on or AUTO banning of a member with low points.

not a good idea, so we left it off.
