I think in the scheme of things we've killed more of them in more violent ways than they have of us.

Of course, being the attacker from a stand-off distance kind of taints our own view of the whole situation.

Send them back to where they came from unless there is hard evidence of a specific thing they've individually done to have 'won' the trip there.

Everyone Exaggerates

We're being taken for a ride... agaaaaaaain.....

Or worse.

Hell, even Chicago cops in the 70's and 80's did worse....often including car batteries and wire-clips to sensitive spots and long poles stuck in short shafts.

The difference is that was never official written US policy. The current administration has said that unless someone dies it's not torture. WTF? Over 35 "detainee" deaths have been rules homicides by the army. Most of them the military has later said that they had no links to any terrorist group, but if we did it in the past that makes it OK. Who needs the Geneva Convention or the Constitution. Oh yeah the FBIs top interrogators have said that information gained under torture is completely unreliable.

The point is these were individual cops, not the policy of the United Sates government. I amazes me that more people aren't furious about the this stuff. There are correct ways to deal with "prisoners of war" and that's what these people are.
