the one i've seen (not sure if it's true with all), was only able to be viewed from the main page, which seems kind of pointless. Maybe having it set up as a link above that you can open in any page that opens a table at the top of the screen?

yeah, that's when you don't reply

i'm pretty sure anyone logged on is able to use it, not like it's one of many chat "rooms". besides, I don't think i've ever seen only 2 people logged on before

It must be a new year. this question comes up every year. I seriously think I am gonna add a section about this to the site FAQ'S

Simple answer is, it takes traffic away from the forums which hinders user participation

Re: CLSB Live Chat -FlashChat

I honestly think it's a good idea.
Bump up our pm boxes too. They fill up way to fast and don't take any appreciable amount f space (one uploaded picture probably takes up way more space than 200 messages and that's only if the boxes are full not like it reserves it)

As far as chat now that you have the google ad just make sure it refreshes while in chat. More and more impressions. Traffic is traffic

Yahoo, aol, Microsoft , google and others all have chat programs. So it's not like it's a site killer

You mean it would cut down on the thousands of senseless non-motorcycle related topics?
