Sept 3rd NESBA Chili Cookoff Airfence fundraiser @ BHF

Mark your calendars! The 5th Annual Chili Cookoff is coming!

Labor Day weekend is Midwest NESBA's traditional family gathering. Three days of riding (Sat, Sun, & Mon) and the now-infamous Chili Cookoff.

The last 4 Annual events have all together raised over $25,000 and 100% of the money raised has gone to purchase Airfence safety barriers that are deployed at Blackhawk Farms Raceway.

These soft barriers minimize injuries in high-speed offs, and have saved lives. This year we hope to break the $30,000 barrier in total funds raised.

In addition to being able to have some kick-a$$ Chili, there will be items to be raffled and auctioned.

We are looking for a few more Chili cooks, as well as for everyone to come out and enjoy the eating, the family atmosphere, and the fun.

The call for cooks is here: http://tracktalk.nesba.com/showthread.php?t=20955

The link to the Cookoff thread on the NESBA board is here: http://tracktalk.nesba.com/showthread.php?t=20956 The trash talking about the chili gets as intense as about the riding!

The party gets going around 6PM, after the days' riding is done. There's no gate fee & no camping fee, so even if you aren't riding Saturday, come on out for the cookoff! You can camp if you have too much fun to drive home.

If you or your business have items for the raffle or auction, contact Fred.

This is an awesome event not to be missed.

Greg took a pic last year - maybe he'll post it?

Craig

In...should be with chili too. Probably not riding though, bike still not together. maybe I can find a way to ride, but not likely. Still going to be there for the food and festivities.
