Those dates on WSB are from the track's posted schedules. They don't necessairly mean that contracts have been signed for those dates. We've always been told to wait for them to post on NESBA's list

You can't register for them until they are posted at NESBA anyway.

I sure wish they would hurry up.

And I'm out for all the April Dates due to work

There have been comments elsewhere about trying to get additional dates at other tracks. Seems that with WERA asking to come to BHF, the track decided that they wanted WERA on some weekends that had traditionally been NESBA's.

Just as there is some level of competition between track day orgs for tracks and dates, so it is with racing orgs as well. The tracks figure out what they want as far as marketing, and then offer dates.

IMO, WERA at BHF will hurt CCS.

WERA took one of the weekends (June) and CCS has the other (July)

CCS has a total of five weekends at BHF this year, and WERA has one. IMHO the WERA North Central calendar is still skewed pretty far East, so anyone who wants to make the switch will have to travel a lot.

I think the only thing that will happen, is that local CCS racers will do the WERA weekend for the novelty, but not much more. I've heard a couple people talk about switching from CCS to WERA, but no real solid plans. I know we discussed it, but decided to do most of the USGPRU calendar instead.

Unfortunately Stewart handed the series over to ASRA this year due to other responsibilities.

He'll still run the RRGC at Putnam though.

We figured we'd support the USGPRU anyway so that he still has a series to come back to when he returns.

I'm looking forward to getting lapped by more kids that are a third of my age and close to half my weight.

I'd love to get Wink's Aprilia 250 running solid again and learn to master that little thing.

Just got this in my email.

NESBA Mid-West Member,

After heavy consideration, NESBA has announced that it will be suspending operations in the Midwest region for the 2012 track season. There are several factors that lead to this outcome: less than ideal attendance at Midwest track events, unfortunate cancellations due to weather the prior season, and further difficulty negotiating the terms of track rental and securing reasonable dates for this region.

NESBA recognizes this will come as a major disappointment to many of its members, especially those most affected. It must be stated that NESBA did not arrive at this decision easily. It just did not make sense to us to continue to operate with 1-2 events per facility, i felt it wouldn’t serve our valued member base affectively.

As we enter the 2012 season, NESBA will continue to solidify the track event schedule in all of its regions and adding new events that make sense for the organization and its members at every opportunity.

We are hopeful that the future will afford us the opportunity to be blessed with a Mid-West schedule.

Respectfully,

Bob Blandford
President

Haven't received that one yet. I got one saying NESBA expands in the SE region.

Quote:
NESBA Expands Operations

NESBA is expanding again, this time deeper into the Southeast where the riding season is all year long!

Mohnton, PA (January 9th, 2012) NESBA is expanding deeper into the south, adding NOLA and Jennings to their already extensive east coast schedule.

NESBA has secured a significant amount of dates at NOLA Motorsports Park and Jennings GP. The events currently on the schedule are:

NOLA – March 17-18, June 16-17, October 20-21, Deccember 1-2, Jennings GP – June 30-31, July 7-8, Sept 30-31, Decemberr 8-9
Damn.

Anyone want to buy $430 in credits?

Craig

first was nesba B. loved it. second was motovid N (joke) bump after one sess. third was stt I. was okay. did a few of those and then rode stt A. did some of those and motovid A. big gap from my first nesba day to my second...like 8 trackdays in a few weeks. then rode B again because thats the rules of their structure. bumped to I after first sess. that was a great group and best of all my trackdays. would have like to do a few more and try for nesba A. would have been proud of that but quit trackdays after dirt. made no more sense to me.

im just saying i loved nesba and thier individual attention and structure, yet open. for me it was perfect. im just saying u cant generalize and say if ur a beginner u have to do so and so group. thats an opinion. that little pack thing stt does for a N...i personally would not have signed up for it.

right! thats what i mean. it meant something there. and i always felt the coaches wanted it for u too. doing nesba after the other orgs felt like coming home.

i always felt like at a nesba day it was more focused at improving you as a rider. i felt at stt it was more like umm go turn laps...ok np thats fine too.

from my experience there werent nearly as many red flags and probably because people were riding in the group they belonged. instead of every muther riding I group because they are too cool for N and scared of A.
