Agreed...
If I win can I sign up for NESBA?

correct, once you win, you must sign up to be a member of nesba to win the FULL FREE TRACK DAY from C.L.S.B. not just the INTRO day which is just 2 sessions.

so other wise, if you win, go sign up to be a nesba member prior to going to your FULL track day that you won from C.L.S.B.

sorry if i didnt make that clear enough, please ask away if there is anything else.

Not really Jeff. If you look at it this way. Its a school and there are a lot of members who have never done a track day with NESBA. Maybe they could not afford it. (the track day) but likes to be a member of nesba.

Which brings me to say that yes it is expensive to do a track day and its pretty friggin awesome i think that CLSB will be sponsoring 20 different newbie track riders for 20 friggin track days!!! Thats unreal !!

All i can say is WAY TO GO!!!!

The amount of knowledge you learn from 1 day could be immeasurable!! But then again that is what CLSB is all about.

Ride safe and ride smart!

Thanks again guys!

This sound great, but I got a question about the "never done a track day before". I'm signed up for the May track day, which would be my first time on the track. does that mean Id have to enter to win a day before the may track day, so that the nesba time is the first time on on a track? Or is it never done a nesba track day?

Are you saying that we can sign up for each one?

If we can sign up for each one, do we have to send you an individual PM for each one?

Thanks!

Is there 1 prize of 1 day for all venues, or is it 1 day per venue? Does Nesba have any classroom instruction? Like at Keith Code or any of the other schools.

from the entrys "people who enter".

20 track day "what ever nesba list in there midwest track days" there will be a winner for each day.

members can only win 1 track day this year from C.L.S.B. to go to NESBA.

from the list of people that enter, for 1 or all of them to win a chance of a full free track day i will draw a SEPARATE winner for each event.
and annouce it.

and yes they have some class room time for NEW to the track people..and there control riders works with there members in the track from answering questions to following you around the track here and there to see how you are doing.

hope that helps ceptor

I'll put my name in for the drawing, "winning" something might be the kick in the rear I need to get out on the track. How much notice will we get since a first timer is likely to need some prep time for the bike?

Also, before I send the PM, any suggestions on which is the best track for a beginner? If not, which one is closest to the Chicagoland area? It seems like Blackhawk is the closest one?

try NESBA for free!

In an effort to keep riders safe and off the street, NESBA offers its Intro class to non-members at no charge. This exclusive free trial class was created for the street rider not sure about signing up for a full day of riding. The Intro class receives the Beginner classroom session and has access to the track for two 15-20 minute Beginner sessions in the morning rotation. There is no bike preparation requirement; however, participants will be required to pass tech inspection. It is our hope to show street riders that the track is the only safe place to ride fast.

Depending upon the size of the track, the Intro classes is usually limited to 10 riders each day. To register for the free introductory session, please click here to start your registration process. You can sign up for one free intro session.

here is the link to register
sign up for registration here

once you do that follow the steps and sign up for a free intro!!

also, as a beginner any track would be good to get a start at, my suggestion is to do the April black hawk, because there you will have the most amount of CLSB members there to give you support, help you get your bike ready, and answer any questions you may have before you go out on the track.
