Electric hook ups are limited. The really good news is that they finally repaved the track.

In the past track management has been real peculiar where people can park etc concerning motorhomes. I will try and secure a location on the lower level just to the side of the main building along the chain link fence to hot pit.

Just a reminder this is a Friday/Saturday event.

We were able to last year. Motorhomes were charged I think $20 or $40 for camping as well.

As we get closer to the event I can post more details and specifics. First Daytona then VIR then Barber.

Damn, how many threads about Barber are we going to spread around this board???

Okay, I just got the word from my supervisor. I am off from Wednesday 24th through Monday the 29th.

Jim mentioned he wanted to leave Wednesday. I could be up for that, but it depends on what my partner (Grover) wants to do. We might just have to meet up with you guys at the track. One thing I ask, please save us a primo spot in the pit next to you RV guys.

Who else wants to check out the museum? I do! Im thinking we stick around Sat night, chill some, and wake up early for the museum Sunday. Spend a few hours there and head home. Roll in Sunday night sometime. I can't return the RV until Monday anyways.

I'll find out how many vacation days I have to burn off. Last I checked it was 2 1/2 but I may have a spare in there (floating holiday that I may or may not be entitled to since I started working here in June).

Yeah, primo spot by the RV folks. RV's have fridges, very important for keeping beer cold. Since we aren't riding on Sunday, what to do on Saturday night? Is Birmingham a good night time activity spot on Saturdays??

Us old farts will probably just have a nice dinner and relax with a few cocktails by the RV.

I need some more tapes. I think a 6 pack will do.

Chris, there is plenty to do in BHM on a Saturday. My bike will be street legal... so I might take it into the city.... We'll have to see how tired I am.
