Hanven't been on in a while. How come the board has been dead lately?? anyway, is anyone going to Sturgis for bike week? If so, is it only cruise bikes and Harleys? If anyone is going, I'd like to be with the group if you go. thanks
Went last year and it was fun, but there's only so much chrome you can take in a weekend. It is mostly cruisers and I was one of only a handful of sportbikes. They actually gave me a kinda weird look when I was cruising through town.

Nobody has ever said that it's cruisers only. But......the fact that it is definately an adults only event and it's out in the middle of nowhere has kept a lot of bikes and riders from making it or so it seems. I've seen sport bikes out there and frankly I think it's a great area to ride one. If I can get mine down there once I'd like to blast it through Spearfish Canyon once early in the morning. Then maybe Needle's Parkway cause it''s kinda like the Dragon. Needle's Pkwy has one turn that goes around one and a half times before it stops. It actually goes over itself on the way out of the turn. This year I should be there the first weekend then on to the coast. Taking the cruiser.
