NESBA/Garth Mention in Motorcyclist Mag

Anyone else see this ?

Reading through the lastest copy, came across a mention of NESBA, Garth, and Blackhawk Raceway in the longterm review section about a GSXR750.

I thought it was cool since most motorcycle magazines seem so left coast oriented...

Congrats to NESBA and Garth.

Yeah, Motorcyclist has a contributing guy (Aaron Franks, I think) that has been at a couple NESBA events. He did the long term Triumph Daytona 600 coverage, did a review of continental tires during that time, then got 'assigned' a GSXR750 (rough, I know) to review. His biggest article lately was the cross country on an R1 piece about 6 months ago.

I read that article about him riding the R1 from California to Wisconsin. Good Read, he said his ass turned 10 shades of red through out the ride
He also said that he started hallucinating from riding for too long.

Anyone ever ride there bike for so long they start seeing stuff thats not there?

Who's your daddy? LOL, JK. My Honda counterparts have been less than inthused with regards to this. Autographs on sale for 2 cents. Can't wait to get back on the pipe next year.

Garth, sorry to hear you're getting back on the pipe next year. I thought you'd kicked the habit. That stuff is no good for you. Where's your self control?

That was a great article! They caught a lot of crap from the Iron Butt Association about it too, because you know the 'real' iron butt guys _never_ take risks, _never_ speed, _never_ ride too tired to concentrate properly ...
