Saturday, Sunday, Monday, oh my! This is a test. Will I be able to make it for three days in a row? On a new track? Will my tires last? Will I survive my hotel room roommates? Stay tuned for answers to these questions and more.

See you all there.

How's Autobahn on tires, left and right side? I'm thinking my rear is toast after 2 days at Road America (there's almost no right side tread left), so I guess I should replace it either way huh...

I was at Autobahn North about a month ago w/ STT. It is really easy on tires. The track is smooth yet still grippy. It doesn't eat up tires like BHF or Putnam. I don't know how the South track is though. Hope that helps.

On the North course, did you notice any preference towards right side or left side wear? If it is another track with that kills the right side of the tire but is fairly easy on the left side, I might just have my rear flipped and try to get one more day outta it. Thanks!

I would say wear looked pretty even on both sides of the tire. The North circuit is mostly right-hand turns, but there is a fast left sweeper in the first half of the track and a left corner at the end of the back straight. Flipping a tire might be ok at this track, but I wouldn't have the confidence on that fast left if your tire is already shot on that side.
