My first track experience

I had a GREAT time and I really like how nesba is layed out. The control riders were very aproachable and I had one follow me for two sessions, afterwards he would critque me and give me new lines to try. I skipped the last session cause my legs are toast but I got a LOT faster by the end of the day and even had a knee down a few times in T1/2, 6, and 8. Also had a moment where I thought I was going to have to clean out steve's leathers Going wide around T1 in order to flow into T2 my back tire jumped about 4 times and tried to buck me, I stayed on the throttle and road out of it but for a moment I thought that was it sorry for not stopping and saying goodbye to ya guys but I was burnt I dunno how you do that 3 days in a row.

Steve Thanks again for lettin' me borrow the leathers I'll send you a PM later on or tomorrow so we can figure out when I can get 'em back to ya. I got some pictures and video of my close call I'll try and post them later

Aha, so that was you out there. When you passed me in about session 4 or 5, my second thought was, "What's Steve doing in B group??"

Good job out there. C'mon back real soon.

Addiction hell? I'm already looking for a track bike and selling my Busa. I think that's worse than any addiction I know of.

You don't need a Busa, 600 for the track and a crusier for the road sounds good to me

So, I don't post here very often. I read a lot, but anywhom.

I am going to a track day. I have one in October, but I really don't think I can wait that long. I can't afford leathers, and getting used ones is really hard for me (i'm a bigger guy, 46" waist, big thighs, wierd upper body)

But, apparently i can RENT them at trackdays hosted by nesba? cool for me. Thing of it is, what should i expect from this? like, i'm a beginner thru and thru, but, i'unno. how should my bike be set up? (things removed, added, etc. fluids, you know)

Also, what is that autobahn track in joliet like? good? bad? good for first time? any pointers and helpful hints would be great.
