As much track riding as you do, you should have a spare set of rims ready to go. Just a thought.........

A spare set of rims with rotors would run over $300. And that was on my tiny SV rims (160rear/120 front). In the two years I've had them, I've mounted them once (rains). For track days, I don't even bring them. Unless you are doing a lot of private track days without tire service, it's a pretty low priority item.

A good rider will pretty much ruin a rear tire in one day at Putnam. It's a very grippy track but it comes at the expense of tires.

Isn't that weekend also a blackhawk CCS weekend? 4&6 is also the Dunlop CCS rep. That's not counting if there is an AMA round that weekend.

copy and pasted from the nesba, board. it looks like both 4&6 and matt wont be there to support nesba with there tire service from the looks of it.

ok so no tire service dealers for this putnam weekend, looks like i might set this one out then.
i do thank all you nesba members offering your tools, but i never done this before, and dont feel like messing up a 195 dunlop slick.
