October autobahn

What did I get myself into? I went out and bought a Aprilia RS 250 ( I blame my younger brother) and I just signed up for the October, Sunday and monday at autobahn. In other silly news, I went to try on my old leathers and I am sure they shrunk since 1992. So now I have a shinny new set of Dainese monza leathers (which are replacing my old Dainese monzas) on the way. Money is just vaporizing around me and I couldn't be more excited. I am hoping to get myself familiar with the bike and with a lot of help, make way around the track with some semblance of form and a little bit of speed. (maybe)
But at least I will look like a cool dork with nice new leathers ( my old ones had just enough scuffs and slider wear to look cool ) and a cool bike. I am looking forwards to meeting a whole bunch of you and learning a bit. regards
David
Ps Probably selling the old leathers, sz 52

Life's Journey Is Not To Arrive At The Grave Safely In A Well Preserved Body, But Rather To Skid In Sideways, Totally Worn Out, Shouting "HOLY SHIT... What A Ride!"

All you have to do is follow three simple rules. One, never under estimate your opponent (mentality). Expect the unexpected (could work out in your favor). Two, take it outside(or to a table). Never start anything inside the Bar unless it's absolutely necessary. And three, be nice.

And thanks for your support.... ya this has all sorts of comedic potential. The good news/ bad news is I got hosed on the availability of the Dainese that I wanted so I went with some more affordable Alpinestars. I was getting a cool vibe on the idea of picking up where I had left off with the newest version of my old ones. Oh well. My brother suggested mounting a counter on the RS to keep track of how many times I get lapped.
This should be one heck of a fun time no matter how much I suck.
