Well I am 16 years into my current ( and only) marriage, so I should prolly just teach this one to ride on the track. But giving her a new track bike for our anniversary is an absolute stroke of genius, I think I'll try that.

(BTW, if no one hears back from me for a month or so, tell the cops not to look for me cause I'll be at the bottom of Lake Michigan wearing a pair of concrete racing boots)

I should be there Sat. and Sun. barring any unusual work circumstances. I already skipped two days of work to make the North date and the Adv. only day, so I can't skip any more work days for a while, but it looks we'll be off anyway (fingers crossed ).

I just signed up for Sunday. I'll be in B group - just look for the blonde with the yellow gixxer6.

Nolan will graciously be providing pit support and cheering me on (or yelling at me, depending on how I'm doing ). We've got the silver Durango and a blue EZup. Stop by and say hello!!

I would disagree, some of my best laps were keeping up with a control rider, or with a control rider behind me.

If I can keep up with BG that is keeping up with Kim .... I will chalk it up as a good day

Brian,

Riding behind a CR that is coaching you is entirely differnt as they know you are there, are making decisions based on YOUR skill level not theirs and they are anticipating problems for you to a degree.

That all said...... hooking up with someone that is a bit quicker than you to inspire you a bit can be good... if they are a good steady rider and on the correct line.

Dicing with someone on a Litrebike who is doing the "Park and Fly" can get you sucked into a corner bad-deep and beyond your comfort zone really quick.

Choose the folks you follow carefully......

Blarney,

Don't take what we are saying too seriously... We all ride our own ride on the track, and if we happen to find each other because we are riding at a similar pace... great...

I like to follow the cute CR's rears though!

Park and fly is the best. It is a great way to concentrate on you exit speeds. Get em before they have a chance to roll on the throttle.

All you have to do is follow three simple rules. One, never under estimate your opponent (mentality). Expect the unexpected (could work out in your favor). Two, take it outside(or to a table). Never start anything inside the Bar unless it's absolutely necessary. And three, be nice.
