Who's all going up there? Im leaving from the Southern Illinois region if anyone is interested. From the looks of it there should be about 6 of us leaving from here. I know my two buddies from chicago are planning on trailing as well.

I am going from the Chicago area. Near 59 and 90 to be specific. I may have extra room if someone needs a ride. Have a trailer as well.

your nuts, you really need to trailer it up, REST, then be totally focused while on the track, then trailer it home after a long weekend of riding HARD.

let alone you ball it up then your in shits creek with no paddle.

Staying in Bloomington with my daughter most likely. What is the room rates near the track? And where are you staying Ken?

I agree Dave, trailer it. 7 sessions on the track will trash you. No way you gonna want to ride 4-5 hrs home after 14 sessions.

I would highly recommend against it, I remember you saying it was your first track experience as well in some other post. Riding to the track is not a good idea no matter what, and especially if it is your first day, that's just asking for trouble.

Rent a truck if you have to, or post up asking for some trailer space. I'd help ya out, but I'm not confident in my trailers ability to hold 2 bikes after the last time my bike fell and bent my rotor.

AJ already has a ride with me if he is going to Putnam. His first track day will be tomorrow at Autobahn. His main concern was to add miles to the bike. It is brand spanking new... and he only has a few hundred miles on it (he has had the bike a week today).

Either way, he shuold not ride there... he knows..
