If its in Chicago this year you can count me in.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

End of year party with all the Midwest NESBA folks. Usually have highlight videos to watch and just general talking among friends that share a common passion.

Drinking is to blame for the headache the next morning..

Essentially it's the NESBA winter gathering. For a couple years it was put on at BWW in Algonquin, then last year it moved to Iowa but was barely attended. The thread is the banter back and forth to see exactly where it will be at. Some are shooting for WI, most are gunning for Chicago area. Garth lives in Appleton now, so I'm thinking it will be someplace in Wisconsin, but close enough for Chicago folks to drive up.

**edit** I type too damn slow, JRS beat me to it.

In fairness, the low attendance was because there was a pretty impressive snowstorm that came through that day. It dropped, I think, about 12" of snow. Iowa, on its own, is not scary enough to chase people away from the NESBA parties.

Got some great pictures and a few tapes of on track video to share as well from Putnam.

One idea....and it would cost about $30-50 per person for food, drinks (beer included), and a couple hours of FUN!

http://www.whirlyball.com/lombard/lombard.htm

I can set it up to have the whole place. VERY FUN....drinking encouraged but not required.

Very close to I-88 and 355.
