ROLL CALL: RoadAmerica 4/19-20/06

Raod America departures start today (tonight). Since no one posted a roll call, I though I'd post up for it. Grattan was awesome, hope to see more CLSBers at this event.

If you could list bike, days and class, it would be great for those of us who don't know each other yet. Personally, I'd like to see the CLSB crowd try to PIT more together this year. Last year, at least at the end of the year, it seemed we were all spread out and didn't even get to meet other CLSB members that were there the same weekend.

Handle: Wink
Name: Brian Wink
Bike: Yellow GSXR600 #946, Yellow/Red GSXR1000 #946
Days: Wed & Thurs (plus three days of CCS... LOL!!)
Class: Advanced

Some familiar faces that I already know are going are:
RonHix
Tom Larson
Carole Larson
Marshall Skloss
Chris Irwin

Come join us at the longest track in the US. Perfect for you big bore bikes that might have problems on shorter technical tracks. Details on it can be found at http://www.roadamerica.com/2006/index.htm and you can sign up at http://www.nesba.com

PDF track map at http://www.roadamerica.com/2006/imag...a_map_2006.pdf

Camp at Plymouth Rock Campground or hotel at Plymouth Inn.
It is going to be a blast!

So, post up if you are going.

Looks like rain except for Sunday.

First race of the year in the rain (although not freezing!)?

See you down the road.

Ron, you should share your "One Lap Around Road America" with everyone!

It was an awesome time. I got a chance to break in the new 600 and also got my plastics for the new 1000 and got a chance to let it stretch its legs. Now if it weren't for that stupid early rev limiter at 186 in 6th... )(*&()*@#&$$!!!

It sounds so easy when you put it like that.

Thanks to you and Marshall for your help on Wednesday.

It was nice to meet you. I'll see you later this year.

hi, I didn't realize this was you but someone got a pic of us.

and a few more pics of my bike with the stunna sprocket

note to self, next time I'm at RA don't run 15front and 51 rear sprockets

I think I could have dropped a number of seconds from my 2:46 if I hadn't been redlining 6th 3 places on the track and half way down the straight...

Cool.

The camera seemed to miss me in all of the action shots.

I think that was the most fun ever at the track. I love the new pavement.

I think you were too far ahead of me

The photog was a friend of mine and was mainly focusing on the CM team, but he said he got a number of other riders just shooting. He's sending a CD with all the pics soon and if I see more of you I'll make sure to send them along.

That was my first time there and I'm already lovin that track.

Pete even managed to drag his frame sliders in one of the left handers and some how kept it up.
