ok quick nap (or should I say food break )

First off, I can't say thank you enough to you Ken (and CLSB) for my very first track day. I had a HUGE grin every time I came back in to the pits. The guys next to us in the pits were laughing at me and said "I think you are having the most fun out of anybody here" lol

2nd thank you to slowass for letting me borrow your leathers!!!! I REALLY appreciate it!!!

The control riders were AWESOME. They really helped me throughout the day. Although, I learned they can only help you so much, you actually have to listen and APPLY what they are telling you Apparently you have to get off your bike in the turns I still have some learning to do but today was just so much fun for me!

MAN! What an awesome afternoon! I was just not in my zone in the morning sessions, but the afternoon was GREAT! I loved our women's romp around with Michelle, Meech, Kim, and myself. Nice to ride with such quick ladies!

It was a great send-off for my last track day as a local. Next time you guys will see me on the track I will be an official southerner... I hope I can fit in, Ron, let me know about the Redneck Racing Team that AJ and you were talkin' about! I'm in! LOL.

Good times. Great to finally have a dry track to ride on. It was my first time on the north corse. Worked with 2 different control rides in 2 different sessions. With there help it shaved off 6 seconds throughout the day. We were able to confirm some issues I am having with the bike. I should be able to shave off another 4 seconds easily when I make the changes to my bike.

Marshell and Alan rock. Without them I would have been kicking my self in the ass all day.

I'm not short. I'm aerodynamically efficient.

+ 1 I felt like a newbie again being on the track for the first time. So the morning for me was all about learning the track and trying to get off my bike more. Then the afternoon, I was all about having fun

Had a great time again! Kim and I had so much fun! It was the first time we've done two days in a row. I was way more relaxed on Sunday. Peter, one of the CRs, gave me some great advice and basically told me that its there if I want it. Now I just have to get over my mental wall and go for it.

It was awesome to hang out with everyone: Ken, Brian, Erin, Ernie, RdRash, Meech, Tom (Blarnery), Tom (VTEC_EATER), Chris (Grouch), CostlyDucati, and everyone else.

Hoping to make it to Putnam!!!!!

I felt so bad about that. I had been really working hard to square off and carry a lot more corner speed in turn 2. Before I knew it I showed you my front wheel. I don't like when that happens to me so thats why I came over to your pit right away to say sorry again.

Did that shift rod end up causing your get-off? Twink got a great shot of your bike in mid-air. How is it?

Yep, shift rod snapped in half, I had no resistance against my foot when I expected it, and I went right off the bike. She has a shot of my foot flying up before I came off the bike. Drucker was right behind me, and Chris Frye was behind him. Chris says that I was on the ground way before the bike was.

Anyhow, it was right at pit in, I picked the bike up, drove it to the trailer, hopped on the 600, hurried out there and missed maybe a lap and a half... still tons of fun.

Bike was going to Drucker for some work anyway, so it will be good as new by next track weekend.

Now if you had someone with your other bike standing by at pit-out, it could have been just half a lap. That would have really freaked everyone out!

Cool shot! Wink, sorry to hear about your getoff. Glad you had (yet another) quick recovery!

Where'd you get the pic? Sliderphoto (or the other dudes) up already? Or did you have your pit crew snapping away from an undisclosed location?

great picture man, btw i would say i got back UP TO speed, running 12's and 11's on sunday with no traffic, best i could do last year was 12's and 13's.

so i just need to work on getting faster

i know i can shave another 3 seconds off there with my bike, i just need to go in faster with fresh meats on.

those tires had 1 track day on them before.
mid sunday they were starting to go on me.

you on the otherhand, your getting FAST MAN, what you click off a 9 or something?major props man!
