they open promptly at 7am, but by then there is a nice lengthy line, so get there at 6:30 and you'll be fine.

Congrats Chris!!

I also heard some other bump rumours floating around about our very own Brian Wink. If he was already "A", where could he have possibly been bumped to?! Hmmm...

Anyone care to confirm or deny these rumors?

I love that track. The SV isn't the 'ideal' bike for that track, but it's a hoot and usually the turnout isn't huge and the track is wide so getting around isn't a problem.

Thanks all. This weekend was 'kin great! The folks in A are so consistent and predictable that riding close is a hoot. There's a ton of fast people to dice with and learn from.

And yes, I'm not ashamed to say I was passed by Melissa She weighs 40 or 50lbs less than me and has 36ccs on me!

A little clarification is in order here. Wink was asked to "try out" for CR this weekend. He is currently undergoing the training and evaluation for CR.

Wink is NOT a CR. No congratulations are due him YET. He is in the trial period.

He was indeed wearing an orange shirt and CR'ing this weekend. But again, he is NOT a CR, only in the trial stages at this point.

And by the way, you guys know Brian and I are pretty tight and for the record I had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with him being asked to "try out". He earned that all by himself. I was as surprised as everyone else when he was approached on Saturday afternoon. Major props to Brian.

That is all. Carry on.

Hey Wink, congrats on being giving the nod to "try out". It is a great opportunity and I'm sure you will rise to the occasion. Good luck! You know if there is anything I can do to help, let me know.

Thanks for the clarification Ron. I knew you'd have been in here celebrating if the rumors were true.

I for one knew all along that they'd never make Wink a CR. NESBA has come to rely on his consistent track fees too much to let him ride for anything less than full price!!

(seriously though Wink - congrats on the tryout! I'll be rooting for ya)

(In other news, are they going to have four sessions next season? B, I, A, and CR?! Pretty soon half of CLSB is going to be wearing orange shirts and dragging me around the B sessions!!)

Yep - Props to Brian & Chris - Very Cool

Wish I was able to ride Saturday!! I only did Sunday & I didn't really start to get up to speed until about noon time. Then forth session I head out with my chin-strap undone !! I felt like a sitting duck doing a full lap at slow speed just trying to get around the track so that I could get off & fix my helmet.

Then by the time I get my gloves off, fix my helmet, get gloves back on & get other track - everyone else is about 3 or more laps in hitting it pretty hard !! I'm still doing my warm-up lap & getting bombarded by half the A group. Needless to say that was the last session before teh f#*ckin rain came. I'm sorry, but I hope the TV stations don't actually pay their weather people - cause the can not predict the weather to save teir lives
