Post Putnam

Wanted to say thanks to the help, and had a great time doin intro w/the guys that i met down there! Hopefully i'll save money enough this winter to get a dedicated track bike and a small pickup. Sorry i had to leave so early the first day, but didnt have any more $$ left on me really to do much except ride home.

And 5axis...the ride home by going from 24 to 47 was cheaper than going through the city....but man did it take forever lol. Was a lot more relaxing of a ride home at least, didnt freeze.

Maybe i'll cya guys at another event this summer!

Intro riders are allowed to ride in TWO pairs of jeans during the first two sessions of the day. The pace is very controlled during these sessions. It's a kick ass program because you can try it out for free and not have to fork over money for leathers first. I ran Intro in jeans 3 years ago and was hooked. Bought some leathers the next week and have missed very few events since.

Steve,

Glad to see that you made it! We were all impressed to see you riding into Putnam at about 6:20am straight from Woodstock (without a windscreen). Man, you are committed!

Anyhow, I hope that you had fun. I know that you spent some time with Mopar and with Clearwater, great guys. It was good to meet ya and we hope to see you out there again soon.

Best of luck!

Wink

JRSmail - Thanks to your & your family for the company & the lunch. It was good to meet everyone. I would forget about the bump for a while & just ride your ass off having fun - then those CRs will start lookin at you.

Jeff with a J - Good to see ya buddy. It was nice to hang with you & Laura. and of course, thanks for hookin me up with the Holiday inn Express. I either have to put some more money into this sport or just get out all together. Hitting the track just one day a month isn't really doing much for me - espcially when it rains for half of the day...half of the only day I will ride all month

Yep, cant wait to be able to invest in proper gear and some track days, i just have riding gear for now, but they said it was ok for the intro session.

I have to admit, the ride wouldve been a little bit more bearable if i had actually purchased the track days, as it was spent over 2x as much time riding their and back than i was at the track , but a great exp. nonetheless. Wow is it FUN!!
