post: MAM 15th & 16th...

just got back home an hour or so ago and i'm still stoked over the great time i had this weekend...props go out to NESBA, garth, the control riders, and everyone working at MAM for organizing a great track weekend...special thanks to wink, tom, and brent for showing me better technique: track line, body position, and supporting yourself on the bike going through curves...combining all the advice, i am now able to mark on the calender that i planted a knee on the pavement for the first time...what a rush!!! it was nice meeting you wink, and bfly...i was also nice to see some other familliar faces...lastly, a very big thank-you to tom & carol for the great food!!! hope to do it again next year...

quiet.... too quiet

Lets say it was a great weekend. This bit I copied over from the drag racing forum (it's sorta quiet over there)

I wonder if we could have gotten some NESBIAN grudge races going over at the strip if the weather had been 30 degrees cooler?

Bring your track bike and drag race car for a all out mechanical mayhem weekend

Matt,

It was great to ride with you, and even better that you got something out of it! Congrats on dragging that knee puck, the look on your face was worth the trip itself.

Let's get you out to some other Midwest NESBA events as well. Keep the run moving forward.

Brian
