Yup I had a great time saturday, stuck at work all day today. Wish I would have got to meet more of you but the day was pretty hectic for me. Thanks to Ron Hix and Jim for following me around in intermediate and giving me the nod. Ken thanks for giving me some pointers out there hopefully I can get past the 1:11 wall I seem to have hit. With my work schedule I don't know how many more NESBA days I'll be able to do this year, I'll be at putnam in october for sure as long as there's no snow on the ground hopefully I'll see some of you there

Absolutely great weather and a great time on the track!
Glad to see john, and Jim and Patrick coming out, thanks dog for the beers
Saturday with a good nights sleep I knocked off another second off my best times of 1:11.01 Saturday I was doing consistent 11s and a few 10s. Best time was a 1:10.42.
I made it a goal to somehow knock off a second each time I went there and so far ive been meeting that goal. So Saturday was an AWESOME DAY for me.

From there it goes down hill, I started drinking and one of the nesba brothers was making fresh hot wings! YUMMY with a buzz tied on I noticed not only the heat from the sauce I used is making me turn red but there was also crushed red pepper seeds in his batter, but i was hungry and they tasted SO darn good! Left the track at 8pm went home and noticed almost 20 cars around my house. My neighbor was holding another weekly poker game. So I said HUM??? Let me go see whats going on. I am a poker freak and a beer freak. Next thing I know its 3am and I am piss drunk! I wake up at 6am felt like death, took the meanest hottest shit of my life! Got on the road and I think I was still legally drunk.

3 miles away from the track I almost pulled over and dropped ass in a ditch on the side of the road cause I was about to shit myself. Pintched it hard and hauled some ass. Went right through the gates and was able to hit the toilet. I was BLOATED I was GASY and I was sleepy tired and hung over HARD! THEN my ass blows up, I mean I almost took some ice and shoved it up my corn hole. Not only did sitting down the whole day burn my bum hole but I was SO bloated in the stomach.

Sat out the 1st session, I felt better by 10am and figured ok, ill just go slow and easy.

By the 4th lap my head would not allow me to focus enough for what I needed to do. So I said fuck it. Be safe then sorry and maybe later my belly, my ass hole, and my head will feel better.

It never did so I just helped out where I could for my boys and packed my stuff up and left when they did.

I am a retard for drinking and staying out that late on a track day weekend. This was the 1st and last time ill ever does that again!!!!!!!!

p.s. as well as eat ANYTHING REMOTELY HOT!

Thanks to Ken, Tony, and Ernie for helping me with my stand all weekend. Also thanks for helping loading and unloading the VFR from the truck - especially before the emergency run to Willy World to get that oil drain plug replaced.

It was a ton of fun and I learned an amazing amount. Maybe since the VFR wouldn't start I can convince the wife I need a dedicated track bike.

Anybody know where the on-site photographer is posting his pictures?

Ecellent use of a typo

Just look for the yellow duc #47
and Ken's swat bike

Actually I saw a black wing (which I'm assuming was yours), just outside the entrance to the track as I was going in for one of my sessions.

honestly, I cant believe how much I learned this weekend. With every session my confidence and smoothness increased, till 2:40 session on Sunday, my focus was going from me being tired. I got sloppy and the front end got loose on me in turn 2. Not a bad loose, but enough that it jarred me off line a bit. But I caught it and got back in the line and had some good laps after that, but I called it quits as I wasn't feeling 100% anymore and didn't want to chance it.

Excellent experience all around. and i will be back. Already told the wife I want a motor-home/toyhauler now

Autobahn was a lot of fun. Great to be on the track after almost a month off. I was only able to ride Sunday, but make it into a huge ordeal

Rode my bike down, converted it to track, ran all day Sunday...was able to click off a 1:08 =) then proceeded to convert it back to street and ride it home. Needless to say..im totally destroyed right now. Damn i can't wait for the next track day!!

What an awesome weekend!!

Great time (as usual) with all of the NESBA and CLSB folks. Special thanks to CRs Melissa, Wink, Heath, and Tony for the work they did with me this weekend. Honorable mention to Peter, Dustin, and all of the other NESBA CRs who took the time to help teach me at past events!

Now Nolan gets to put up with me in "I" trying to chase him down

For the record, fastest lap for me today was 1:18:44. More work to be done, but I'm very happy!
