Good times once again The first two sessions on Saturday were bad for B group and I just rode like crap in my third session. I just couldn't get it going for some reason and I was twitchy and going in too hot into every turn. Took a little nap during lunch and things got so much better. The last four sessions were amazing, but the best one was the last of course. Definitely ran my fastest laps and Sponge and I had so much fun following Wink on the SV. I wish I could've made it to the track today, but my credit card bill isn't looking too good. Good to see many of you guys and girls out there.

Even not riding I still enjoyed myself. I was able to keep busy doing all sorts of things. I did some observing/coaching for several riders in different turns. It's funny how sometimes what we think we are doing and the reality are so very far apart. It was even better to see a few of them make the adjustments and go better.

I also played crew cheif for a newbie 250 rider LOL I'll let him report on that experience. I guess he will check in tonight after he finishes CR'ing this weekend. I need to fix up my bike a little bit and get ready for Putnam.

GREAT weekend for sure!

Got there Saturday morning and it was chilly and moist! Dew in the air and around the track. Pitted up with wink,aj,ron, mopar and a few other guys I cant recall right now cause there was so many that we all just hanged out like normal by the tech shed.

1st session out was hell on A group cause of the cold moist track, 2nd advanced session was much better and by 11am it was time to rock!

For some reason I did my normal 20’ & 19’s couldn’t seem to go much faster I was just in a mode. But the cool thing was it was constant 20’s lap times with 19’s thrown in there. Track times aside, there was a few sessions where some of us diced it up, made some awesome pass’s. Can’t really explain the max joy pushing it full lean and almost bumping on an inside pass, hahahaha.

The cook out was so cool, it was like old times under the pavilion awning there was a ton of us, after eating camp fires lit the night. Good company and beers were flowing.

Here is a little inside joke:

3 blondes and 2 brunettes what’s there total combined I.Q.?

FOUR!!!!

Thank wink and Ron and a.j. for the good times, great as always great friends.
Everyone included that I saw or waved or spent some time with you, pleasure as always.

Lately I feel kind of bummed knowing that my 9r is holding me back now and I am planning to run the rest of the year out on her. In the winter pick up possibly a 2006 GSXR1000, and drop seconds drop the problems of weight and the limits of my race ready RELECK.

See you all at Putnam, with PLENTY of extra tires this time.

p.s. incase some was wondering I left early due to my left side rear not hooking up anymore and I didn’t have another tire in hand.

p.s.s. AJ my legs are also killing me

yeah she had a minor get off in turn 7 I believe. She was up and walking around and the bike wasn't too bad but her wrist was bothering her and I think Nolan might have taken her to the doc. I'm hoping it wasn't broken.

rdrash got ran off the track. some bozo in I group took the inside of the kink away from him off the back stright leading into T7.

end result, broken collar bone, and his whole family came there for lunch to see him. there arrival, and his crash was like a minute apart.

heal up bro.

as i said early fred threw the guy off the track. "ended his day right there and then"

just got home from 2 full days at BHF.

what a good time, the Kruz missle is just down right awsome by saturday afternoon i was cranking out more 1:20s than you could shake a stick at, traffic/no traffic that bike was rockin! by the last session i could feel the back tire not wanting to handle the right turns anymore. Sunday i decided to leave on the old rear which did nothing but cause me problems and give Nolan a really good show i never knew you could have 3 runoffs in 1 lap and still make a 1:25 finally at lunch i swapped it out for a harder compound, wasn't all that great, but i was running 1:21s after that.

now time to redo the brakes on the bike, get some differant tires and rock out at Putnam!

rdrash... I've got a great orthopedic if you need a referral. He's in the medical building by the high school near you. Drop me a PM if you need his number.

Kim was about and in good spirits when she left today. She stated that she pulled two gears to downshift going into 7. The rear end started to move on her. As such she wasn't slowing as much as she like and grabbed a bit to much front brake. Had both ends loose at the same time I guess. I have to imagine it was a hard one as the bike didn't even have enough momentum left to slide off the track. I was behind Wink and one other rider at the far end of the back straight when it occured. When she saw us coming she noticed she was still on the asphault and high tailed it for the grass. Her injuries seemed pretty minor, but well wishes go out to her.

I also had a blast this weekend! Good to see all of you out there. The cookout was it's own entertainment.

The Nesba track family rocks!

Talking Wow, I hope you all heal up good

Thanks to all for being so nice to the old crabby guy.

Rdrash, I know the feeling when someone ends your day. Happened last year to me in the bus stop. Broke hand sucks. Although I can now predict weather better than Chills.LOL

Kim, get that thing looked at soon. And heal up good, so you can continue to make me look even slower than I really am.

Sponge dude, fun is fun.

Kegger, I know you willl be here soon. Great day and glad you brought the wifey. Hope you were able to back that thing up OK.

Wink, I didn't know you were an ass man.LOL

Ron, you missed your calling as circus director.

AJ, great lap times dude.

Peter and Molly, great times again. Peter you need a doctor dude.

I'm sure I forgot some but when you're old you're allowed.

Thanks all.

You guys were both looking great out there. I LOVED the SV and of course 5Axis's RS250. Glad you had fun! I look forward to riding with you again soon.

For some reason I did my normal 20í & 19ís couldnít seem to go much faster I was just in a mode. But the cool thing was it was constant 20ís lap times with 19ís thrown in there. Track times aside, there was a few sessions where some of us diced it up, made some awesome passís. Canít really explain the max joy pushing it full lean and almost bumping on an inside pass, hahahaha.

The cook out was so cool, it was like old times under the pavilion awning there was a ton of us, after eating camp fires lit the night. Good company and beers were flowing.

Here is a little inside joke:

3 blondes and 2 brunettes whatís there total combined I.Q.?

See you all at Putnam, with PLENTY of extra tires this time.

p.s. incase some was wondering I left early due to my left side rear not hooking up anymore and I didnít have another tire in hand.

p.s.s. AJ my legs are also killing me
As always Ken, it was great to spend time with you!

Regarding the 9 holding you back... you are welcome to ride my 05 GSXR 1000 at Putnam. Let's get a test weekend under your belt...

Related to the chicks.. that seems to be the consensus... so now that we all agree.... someone is due a bj. ROFL!!!

what a good time, the Kruz missle is just down right awsome by saturday afternoon i was cranking out more 1:20s than you could shake a stick at, traffic/no traffic that bike was rockin! by the last session i could feel the back tire not wanting to handle the right turns anymore.

Dude... I think that it ain't the bike... hell, I saw a friggin' 250 stalking yer ass.... and kicking it everywahere but the front straight... LOL!!!

Congrats on the 20s bro, you were looking good and like you were comfortable out there.. Now just hink how much faster your lap times would be if you could stay on the track in T1...
