pit bikes?

what is NESBAs policy regarding pit bikes?

do they need to be registered?

is there any cost assocciated?

No NESBA policy. Blackhawk has their policy which does have a cost, but IIRC that's the only chicagoland track with any policy (other than don't be a dork)

Varies on the track. Call the track before and ask about their pit vehicle policy. Some wont even let unregistered vehicles (other than race) even to operate in the paddocks.

And I have to say that the policy at BHF is not without reason.


Last year during a CCS weekend they had more medical off-site transports for
pit-bike accidents than they did for the racers. I believe that they also had to
suspend racing for a period of time because the ambulance was gone form the track
due to these incident.


Now that is f^&ked up.

Well hell, pitbikes are hard to ride man! I almost crashed the Reverend Rice's fiddy into his two-fiddy today, the front end came up so hard when I hit the gas....
