Post Putnam Suprise?

I come home from Putnam and find a note on the front door to be quiet.
I think to myself "Gee thanks, I'm glad to be home and see you too."

I find this in my kitchen!

She's a 12 week old Lab / Australian Shepherd mix.
My girlfriend and I are dog sitting her parents dog, and we agreed that we didn't need a dog of our own. Guess being out of town I didn't get a say in the vote on this one.

She's so cute, even I couldn't say no to keeping her. She came from a rescue program and they thought she was quiet and timid. Turns out she's got pneumonia! If we hadn't have taken her home and taken her to the vet, she wouldn't have made it. Hopefully she'll be ok and joining us at some of our track days next year. She's a real sweetie and is feeling much better today.

I / We already got beat on that one as well. Her name is "Chloe."

Yes Ron, I'm a softie. Since the antibotics kicked in Tuesday at 4:00 am , she's been a fiesty little puppy. She looks like a lab, but has those herding dog personalities. I take her in the yard, and she runs around me and tries to herd me in different directions.

She's really cute. She won me over in about 10 minutes.

Our house backs up to a forest preserve / frisbee golf course. I think I'll teach her to catch frisbees.

LOL!

I thought my face was gonna be a SNACK the first time I met Ron at Road America. It went very similar to this...

The best investment I've made was a dog door and a six foot fence! No more waking up at 3 when she's got the runs or worrying about being gone 15 hours. She still gets at least two miles of walking each day for exercise, but the dog door let's me decide when this happens, rather than her bladder.

Congrats Greg!

Cute dog and bravo for taking a rescue dog. With all the rescue dogs available and all the pure bred rescue organizations trying to find homes for dogs there are very few reasons to buy a dog nowdays.

Thats exactly where I am. Next time your in the area, stop by. My work car is a white ford focus wagon with Michigan license plates.. If it's there come by and say hi. It's the white ranch on the corner.

She was definately sick when I got her. She slept the first two days we had her. No emotion, just mellow and sleepy. The antibotics kicked in, she's got a monster appetite. If she's not sleeping, she's everywhere! I was just laying on the floor watching tv. All the sudden, WHAM, up side my head. She just pounced on me.

Now she's taking her toys and running them across the room and bringing one back and taking a new one over. She wipes out every single time when she tries to stop on the wood floors.

She's far to adorable.

But, he is freak for smoke, water coming out of a hose, bubbles, etc.
