They need to make the track about 300 miles closer, and the weather about 30 degrees warmer. (for me to go anyways)

I really wanted to get to Putnam, but couldnt make it, and Kansas is just too far for me, at the moment..

Well winter time and 9 hours away don't mix very well when you can drive a couple of more hours and do a trackday in Florida.

Even though i have never been there, I'd have to say that it could be free and I would never go. It's just too far for me. So there is really nothing Nesba can do to entice me to go.

I've been to Jennings, nice track. Nice and flat. If you have never been to Heartland you are in for a pleasant surprise as this is a premier facility and offers one of the best track configurations of any track in the U.S.

Yes, the weather is a bit of a crap shoot with Topeka in Nov. History tells us that there is a greater than 50/50 chance of mid 60 degree temps. History also indicates the rainy season for Northern Florida during the same time period.

According to MApQuest, Jennings is 960 miles from Chicago while Heartland is 579 miles.

Jennings is 381 miles further.

In any event I hope this sheds some light

Did CLSB have the two days to give away for Heartland?

If the days were given away and somebody who wasn't planning on going wins....they might convince another to come along.

Might also generate some interest....free shit always does

Yeah I won and told Oddy to give it to someone else that could use it. The reason I am not going was posted above.

Come over and do my valve adjustment, timing belts, fuel filter, spark plugs, adjust tps, sync throttle bodies and change out my tires. Oh and find someone to cover my on call that weekend

How do I take advantage of that?

I haven't compared the length of the straights yet. Will I need to change sprokets from what I run at Putnam? Or what I run everywhere I should say.

I don't really have an excuse, I even have a credit I could use for one day, too late to get off work now.

The Larson's must provide breakfast as well as dinner.

Actually, for me it is a time off work thing. Normally we slow down by now, but this year we are still flat out.

The easy way would be to sign up at the track, but I'll see if I can get NESBA admin to make it effective vis web sign up
