Had a very good year! Thanks to all those that I got a chance to ride with this season. This was my first full year with NESBA. I made it to every single Midwest weekend and then some weekends in the Southeast region as well.

CLSB introduced me to NESBA at the very end of the 05 season. Thanks KEN, KRUZ and HIX!

One of the really cool things is that my daughter Tina (TWink) also took MSF this season, rode about 50 miles on the street, and then moved to track riding only. She rode the yellow dates shown. She is hooked as well and will try to make as many dates as possible next season.

Stupid NESBA ruined my claim of never wanting to take the RC to the track. Well next year I will be in B group and will hopefully make it to every day that Mopar does.

Talking

Even though I spent most of my time at the track watching my son race, I was still able to sneek 9 track days in for me. Thanks to NESBA and their great volunteers, I ended my track season far more confident and without mishap.
Looks good next season for more dayswith NESBA, as the racing will go part time.
Congrats to all those that won free track days.

Thanks to CLSB and NESBA for a great year.

Not a great season, but still had some fun with the familiar faces.

- BHF 5/13 - bike never came off the trailer (rain)
- ABN 6/03 - hmph

Short season.

Still managed to have a few laughs in the pits the rest of the season. (and sponge kept the bike pretty all season) so it wasn't a total loss.

Can't wait for next season. I have a lot of making up to do!

A bittersweet start to '06. I sold my RC51 (fat pig) and bought my '06 GSXR 600. This was a great move for my riding skills, as I could no longer cheat my way through Intermediate traffic. Instead, I had to learn some cornering skills. I'm better than I was on the old bike, but still have a long way to go.

I felt pretty bad quitting Sliderphoto. I really didn't want to leave everyone without a photgrapher, but I couldn't dedicate the time to sorting the photos. Losing out on 6 to 8 sessions per weekend was also hampering my development as a rider.

so basically, you didnt spend a dime on trackdays?! UGH!!
Hang around a CR for a couple weekends and you'll notice the alarming rate at which they can turn a stack of tires into rubber pellets. For the most part, that money is coming outta their own pocket. Certainly the 15-20 gallons of bike gas each weekend, chains, sprockets, clutches and travel costs are all out of their own pockets.

They get paid $0.

I only had a chance to do 2 weekends before I had to have eye surgery, but I'm hooked. I got to meet lots of great people, and I'm looking forward to doing a lot more days this year.

I did 5 NESBA days this season.
2 at Putnam Park
2 at Gingerman
1 at Blackhawk

I was pretty busy this year off the track. I have NO clue about next season, perhaps 2 trips to Putnam.

I think I got to the track 12-14 times last year, got rained on a few times so probably got to ride 9-11. Probably 16 days in the last two seasons all while working retail hours!

Can't wait to take advantage of the 2007 schedule! Hopefully looking at another 12-14, if the bankroll allows...
