Next time we are at a small track like Autobahn North, I'll swap bikes with you for a session and we'll see if you still believe that those extra CC's are an asset instead of a liability.

I run basically the same times on the F4i and on the 1000 at ACC North. It is a lot smoother and flowing on the 600, but it is a blast between 2-3 on the 1000... COMPLETELY different rides on that track.

What freaked me out was when we were at the Pirelli testing day at Autobahn SOUTH and the 600's were within 2 sec of the 1000's.

I guess you if know how to ring that 600's neck it can get real close to a 1000, even on a relatively non-flowing track that certainly favors the hard acceleration of a 1000.

Check out Marshall last year, he killed 1000's all the time on his 750. At the end of the day, it really is about the rider.

I'm looking forward to the lightweight 600 in just a couple of days in Vegas...YEAH BABY!

Surely you're not comparing Marshall's abilities to mine.

I'll agree that a 600 is very competent at ACC North, but it only takes one decent straight for the 1000s to leave me for dead. When someone on a 1000 can stretch 1-2 seconds per lap just on the straight, the 600 guys end up riding by themselves. I think the A group should all be 600s.

nobody is mistaking you for Marshall dude........

It's funny to ride with the 1000's ...... a few bike lengths on each straight
they slip away .... a little here .... a little there .... two laps .... gone.
Easy to catch them in the tight stuff if you are aggressive.... but winning
the battle doesn't mean you win the war.

I'm with you ..... The Advanced Group 600 Cup .... that would be interesting.

I agree...

Advanced Group (limited to 600 cc bikes)

Just think, no more BS excuses of why you're slower than another rider!

You guys are hilarious!

You're right...a liter bike is just more danger and more difficulty. It's not good for covering up bad technique. It's not faster than a 600. I'm just making excuses for my lack of skill. And the sky is red, right?
