Maybe see you at the show and for sure see you guys at Ricks. I'll have the ice bike with. Early Sunday morning we'll leave Ricks and head up to Lake Geneva area to ice ride.

I was there for four hours Saturday, and saw no one I knew. First time ever.
Saw the 4:30 balls of steel show, awesome.

Picked up some orange Frogg Toggs. CR to the core, this one.

Talked the Cycle News chick out of everything she had to give away, and she even told me her boyfriend was away. Should have pursued that one......

Looked at some bikes, tried the 1098 on for size, feels like the 929. I like.
(and only $500 more than I paid for my 916!!) I gotta' get one.

Saw the sportbike guys in their riding jackets, and Harley riders wearing chaps, and models wearing next to nothing. Me likey the latter.

Saw a group of people in what appeared to be kevlar vests with their riding group patches (colors?) on them.

The show was bigger this year, and three times the size it was during the dark years. (remember the 1988 GSXR750?, shudder) But I do miss the jerky vendor, good stuff there.

Wanted a cocktail, and wasn't about to pay $7 at the show, so I went to the Marriott and looked for the bar we went to last year, but it was gone. Snif..
No cocktails for me.

So I ended up at a mexican restaurant around the corner. Awesome margaritas. You should have been there......I think Miguel got distracted pouring the tequila.

OK, done rambling, all in all, a typical show.

I'll go again next year.

was it Marias? we stopped there Friday before the show, last time we do that. Too much mexi food + too many margaritas = an even more boring show than usual, but yeah, we'll be back again as always
