How was Barber?

Where's the post trackday reports? Hope you all had fun and got home in one piece. I'm uber-jealous... I have to wait til April at BHF.

We had a great time. I didn't ride, but it always fun hanging with these guys. Sunday was a bit colder. But not bad. The Larsons grub was fabulous. Everyone came home in one piece. Some a little bruised. But like I say, Any day that doesn't require transport is a good day.

I'll let those that rode share the rest of the stories.

No shit....we drove from Putnam all the way to Bloomington like a bat-outta-hell, albeit a bat without a bladder. Had to finally break off somewhere near Pontiac to piss. haha

Had a great time. Brent(Zeus) was fast as usual, so I tried to follow him to get
a rhythm going. That lasted a couple laps, then his tires were warm and he checked out.
Got me going though, and I started shaking off the rust. Brent and Marshall
are masters of the "you coming man?" look over the shoulder.
Grouch and I ran together a bunch, and he had the coaster exit perfected...he
would gap me there, and I would have to catch back up on the brakes.
Sklossmonster towed me around for a couple laps, and had me working my
ass off to keep pace...I was breathing as if it were wind-sprints! Thanks man!
Best part of the weekend was running with Tom Larson, Dave Frick, and
Grouch all in one group of 600's. No time to look behind me, because it was
like being chased by a swarm of angry hornets! Mr. Ron Hix showed up in the
deal-of-the-century-creampuff motorhome(which Wink had tested to Mach .86).
Oh yeah, then there was the incredible Larson/Frick weekend feast which
all by itself was worth the drive!

What a great start to the new season!

Thats why we take them. (and your welcome ) I can't count how many times someone told Wink or Hix they were hanging off the bike. We download the photos and the proof is there.

Work on your body position. Your a big guy, so your body position will really dictate how you ride. You didn't look to bad for a new bike and a whole winter off.

I'll show you how it's done this weekend......

Had a great time, really fun track with an excellent group of folks.

Hey Nolan, since I got the RV the road trips are getting more doable so you might consider jumping in with us for some of them. We split the travel cost and do the drive all night thing to cut down on the "out of work take a vacation day" thing.
