Pimpin' on I-80

Milemarker - 242 in Iowa, Westbound to Mid America Motorsports.

Mr. Hix is playing the guitar for us, Mopar is watching Alpha Dog (movie), BFLY is laid back on the couch, Mr. Kotlinski is doing his best imitation of Dustin (driving a trailer, not on the track).

We are ready to rock and roll and help kick off the new Mid-Central NESBA region's first event, and get a chance to see Tom and Carol. We haven't seen them since Barber, almost 2 months ago.

Of course, a crowd has gone to a "club" in Council Bluffs... and says that they may still be there when we get nearby, a mere 3-4 more hours from now. I doubt that will be a pretty sight.

Anyhow, looking forward to some MAM laps, and trying to figure out a better line through 3 and 5 this time.

That was the idea. Unfortunately, work got in the way. I really think that they should be more conscientious of my social life.

It was a good weekend. Sorry for the short detour. My eyes were teared up with laughter. There is something funny and disturbing when Hix serenades you.

I couldn't run, so this is what I was being subject. Finish these song lyrics.

We both lie silently still in the dead of the night. Though we both lie close together, we feel miles apart inside. Was it something I said or something I did. Did the words not come out right. Though I try not to hurt you. But I try and I guess thats why they say..................................

When I turned and looked at him laughing my ass off, your lucky we didn't end up in a ditch!

I feel sorry for everyone else on that trip. 2 hrs of Hix jamming on guitar and the two of us singing every song we can think of.

As usual, the road trip was as much fun as the riding.

I even hear that Bfly was all the talk on the CB while I was sleeping.
