It was nice seeing many familiar faces.
Thanks to Mike and Dave Lockhart bringing the bike down there. I did not get to ride due to the mechnical failure.

(Now you can have your bike back Underdog !!! )

Even with such a lousy day for me yesterday, it was great for many others. Forecast called for 60% of rain, we did not get any (ok, it was like 2 drops). In the afternoon, the track was dry and everyone was at full force. I even got sun burned.

Have fun out there today, shiny side up!!!!!

See if anyone know what is wrong with the bike, there are 2 clues!!!!

Great weekend, weather held up great. I was good seeing all the familiar faces and meeting some new ones. I picked up the pace a bit and hope to keep working on everything I'm learning from all the CR's. A big thanks to you guys. Also thanks to the Locharts and Grouch for the ride there and back. Congrats to Greg as well

Those were taken early in the day. The last session out the CR said my position was good. I just now need to work on my leg positioning.

The day went pretty well for me. thanks to the CRs.
first session: I sucked ass, didn't know lines, and I was slow
second session: I sucked ass, didn't know lines, was slow, and dangerous to myself

Well this could go on forever...basically at the end of the day I felt a lot more confident with my lines, the bike, my position was getting better and I was still slow as balls, but I'm improving. Plus I had a lot of fun. Ok, now I have to go figure out when is the next track day I can make.

I am in the process of organizing the pictures by screen name or bike number for easier viewing.

It was good to meet everyone out there. I also started a bit sloppy on Saturday morning but by the last 3 sessions of Sunday the CR I was working with just kept saying everything looked good now add more speed.

Thanks to everyone (not just the CR's) for making it a great Saturday especially "Melissa" the nicest, prettiest (and fastest) CR IMHO!!!!
I think I ran the hottest laps trying to keep up with her and some of the rest of the pack.

I also wish to thank everyone for putting up with the green turtle, slow, traffic jamming sprint. Ha Ha,

I hope I picked up the pace like I feel on the last two awesome sets/sessions.

think of it this way,

You all could use some practice and skill passing as I could use being passed!
Oh yeah, I have thAt part down, next... lol
Again thanks to everyone and the CR's that gave me special tips and encouragement.

as Rick Flair would say

WooooOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Thanks again

Big thanks to all the NESBA folks that made the Putnam weekend so enjoyable:
- Smiley for the beer and margarita bucket.
- Frick and the Larson's for the food and,
- To all the CRs that helped us out.

A special thanks to the southern illinois troop for putting up with me for most of the weekend.
