POST: BHF 6/2-6/3 *plus pics!*

Nolan posted up some pics he took in this thread:

https://www.chicagolandsportbikes.com...ad.php?t=56338

Here are my pics:

http://www.mm-racing.com/gallery/BHF62

All in all the 2 days were great. Rain on satuday morning made riding suck, but the sun came out at lunch dried the track off, and it was back on to full speed. There were very minimal crashing in both days. And on saturday, they even added an extra session at the end!

i ended Saturday posting up a best of 1:17:30, i could not ask for the bike to handle and better. Sunday got a best of 1:16:38, and right before lunch the rain came in after lunch was over, the skys opened up and the sun dried the track, but by this time i was running on empty and decided to pack it up and live to ride another day.

CONGRATS to HDTony on getting the bump to "I" you were looking rocking out there today.

thanks to NESBA and Nesbians who help make these track days great!

Nice job on the :16s mang!

Kim and I really enjoyed hanging out all afternoon and evening with all the CLSB/NESBA folk on Saturday. BS'ing in Wink's trailer and being entertained by Ron and Greg's guitar playing equals some memorable good times!

Despite not riding, we had a good time Saturday. My brother, despite all his terrible shortcomings and general slowness does cook a good wing. You NESBA animals gobbled up 20lbs. of wings very quickly. Today, Amanda and I went to Road America and had to tell Matt Drucker that his mom did not leave him any leftover wings.
Congrats mopar that is starting to roll!

Cool

Great weekend....

And for those of you who stayed home because it might rain....... pfffft...

THe weather was actually pretty good....

Two damp ( K - wet ) sessions saturday, the rest was dry and fast.

But then we ran till 6 ( extra session ) to make up.

It poured today about 10:55, the last couple laps of the B session.

The 11-12 Session was a freaking MONSOON !

The track was dry, clean and fast at 1:00 and rocked all afternoon !

Way to Go Tony..... congrats on the bump.

awesome pics guys! tony, those shots are really looking good!

Mopar, of course congrats on the speed, that's rockin' and Tony, welcome to I, can't wait to get out on the track with you, wish you wuolda stuck around for the afternoon, it was awesome! That was the best time I've ever had on the track and feel like a ton of progress was made this weekend,

All in all a great weekend, and the weather was much better than I thought it was going to be. The nitro was tasty, thanks wink. The wings were fantastic, thanks. Thanks to all the people who assisted in my suspension setup.

Can't wait for the next round!

Great Weekend!! Rain was hardly a damper on the running. It actually worked out nicely with the slow running on Sat morning, cause I had to break-in new rotors... and then up to speed in the afternoon with the extra session. Sunday was great too, rain at lunch, track was almost dry at 1 and then 4 rocking sessions in the afternoon.

Matt, it was awesome to be dueling with you out there. Good to find a riding buddy with similar pace I felt I rode my best in the last few sessions. Will post the videos soon.

Thanx to the CRs for your help (Ron, I think I got turn 5 figured out).

And BBQ is always a good time. Banging wings, Lockharts!

and thanx for everyone who took pictures.

WOW!!! Great weekend, even with all the rain, the track dried up really FAST, not as fast as Mopar, but still.

Thanks to Tom, Wink and Steve for CRing me a little. You guys gave me a lot to work on, and I'm looking forward to improving. After adjusting my throttle play I got the beast to stop sliding out of the corners. Damn Honda and their "On or Off" philosophy!

Dave and Mike can make lunch any time they want at the track!

Congrats Tony, you looked great buddy!
