Autobahn North in July???

After a great time at Blackhawk this weekend, I was going to see about registering for Autobahn the last weekend of July, only to find out it isn't there. Is it sold out for B as well????

Let me know

***If this has been covered already, I appologize, I did search and nothing came up, so deal with it.

AB-N is still showing on the NESBA website for July 28 / 29. What happens when you try to sign up for those dates?

It doesn't come up on my "event registration" option. Autobahn full course comes up, but not north end of july. Am I retarded? Do I have to have some super secret code?

I can't see it on my list for event sign up either. Even if it is sold out, you should be able to see it and sign up to be on the waiting list. The only time an event doesnt show up on your event sign up is when you have already registered and paid for it.

I called NESBA the other day (because the dates show up in the main list but not when you try to register) and they told me a few of the ACC North events had been cancelled...I believe it was the days you're talking about.

Well that leaves no ACC north dates for the 2007 ridding season. That sucks, I was really looking forward to revisiting my first track.

Whats odd is it still shows up on Nesba's site when I look at it under midwest dates. Although when looking at the calendar on ACC's website it looks as if Richard Petty's SRT experience has the track. I'm guessing the petty crew threw some serious cash at the club to get the track.

'DOH!!.... I'm also really wanting to ride the North track again! (was my first track experience also last year with a different org). I'll try to do the full course the week before I guess, but with my luck lately I'm wondering if I'll ever get back on the track again ...nah!, I'll be out there soon!

Probably not.

Some of the other track day orgs will try to get "exclusive rights" to tracks and thereby force you to come to their days or not be able to ride that particular track.

I don't agree with that practice and I hope I am completely wrong on this one. But, I suspect that may be what is going on here.

I'm hoping your refering to ACC when you say "the club" cause we lost our spot not by choice...and we didn't sell it.

NESBA doesn't cancel dates, we loose them usually to a bigger car org. or goverment deal. Tracks maintain the right to adjust $chedule$ as they please.

The season isn't over so don't totally write off ACC North for 2007.

I will see if I can get those dates removed from the schedule. Sorry for any confusion.

Moon.
