Hey Wink?

About your avatar. Word around the camp fire is you fell off of your motorcycle and it kept going without you after that picture was taken.

What are you doing, making sure your front brake pads still look Ok? Or maybe you are trying to determine whether or not your front tire is shagged yet? It could also be that you see a quarter or a peice of someones motorcycle and you are going to snatch it up next lap? Where are you looking?

You know I'm kiddin man. But seriously, did you fall off?

Post a big blown up copy of the picture in here, I want to scope it out.

Umm nope, I didn't fall off or fall asleep. Photo credit goes to Greg Kotlinski, photo taken at Blackhawk this past weekend, Turn 6 by the gate.

Here is the shot:

And no, the picture was in "I" group, I was not riding that speed in the "B" group.

Are you trying to exagerate technique to a student behind you? If so, it totally makes sense. Very good example of over exemplifying for the purpose of learning.

Just don't fall off of your bike trying to get the point across.

He was trying to emphasize body position to the rider behind him. I saw him do that on one lap. I figured if he did it again, I'd get the photo. He did it even more than he did the previous lap. The funny thing is the following rider didn't get the point.

Thats generally the case with control riders, they are speaking a language no one can understand If I saw a CR doing that in front of me, I would be too busy laughing

So how does the front tire look at speed. Could you see the valve stem?

Hix has done it to me a few times. In fact at putnam once he came around me on the outside and I think he was sitting on the right peg trying to make his point to me, but I got the point remembered to move off.

Also amazing the difference between perception and reality, soooo many times as a beginner, you think your hanging off, then you see a picture of yourself in the same turn........ Bolt upright

I remeber seeing Greg in turn 3 at blackhawk with his camera, So I was all like... "Ok I'll make this one look good for the camera", so I exagerated the heck out of my body position, it was amazing how the corner finnaly felt right for the first time

And after all that, Greg didnt get the shot
