I've been making a fool of myself for over a year now I'll see you at Blackhawk. Come on out, have an open mind, listen to feedback from the CR's, have fun and ride within your limits. Welcome to the new addiction!

NinjFour,

Congrats! You are gonna have a total blast. Grab any of the guys/gals in the Orange shirts before and after sessions. You can get as much help as you need or want. If there is anything that you need help with, don't hesitate to ask. Tons of folks happy to help.

Big cookout on Saturday night as well. That F2 will be great on that track.

Thanks guys!

Hate to be a newb and all..but I gots a couple q's if you guys dont mind...

The manual says I'll have to have a number displayed on the front or and/or on the tail. So..if I *really* want to, can I take a big sharpie and write my number? Or are there "special stickers"...or can I just take some stencils and spray paint the tape I put on over the headlight? I mean, I most guys get it painted on, but at the moment, this is my street bike too, so not really an option.

Oh and I know this is my first day and all, but I heard that in order to track an F2, I'd have to replace the rearsets because the pegs will scrape -- should I worry about that just yet?

I figure if I can get myself hooked to this stuff enough, I'll maybe convert the F2 into a dedicated tracker, and get me shiny new 6 shooter towards the end of the season. Good idea? Bad?

You can use tape for the numbers....make sure you unplug the lights, and tape them all up.
Dont think Id worry about rear sets just yet, Id say if your draggin pegs, you need to hang off the bike more, and keep the bike a lil more upright.

Enjoy!

This is gonna hurt!

MArker or contrasting tape can be used for the numbers.

Make sure you unplug the lights or the tape sticks bad.

Don't worry about the rearsets yet...

Make sure your tires are fresh, this year preferable, last years OK if
they are not thrashed or squared off badly..... THAT feels weird on
the track.

C'mon in .... the waters fine !

Just got some duct tape that contrasts from your front fairing paint (whote or black tape) and toss some numbers on it.

I bought and rode my latest bike in the same day at BHF, and Mopar or Wink hooked me up with some tape. Pick any easy (available) number with a 1, or 7 or something simple to do with tape.

BHF is a great track to learn on. Grab a CR and have them show you the line. They are a great resource and have loads of useful information.

Now THAT'S impressive! 24 shouldn't be too hard to get on there...I think I got some stencils laying around, so maybe I'll just use those -- if not, duct tape foshiz

Hah! Already getting close to it with having to add in my new pants and boots! Might even have to throw in another helmet because of my little mishap I had earlier in the season!
