Thinking about going to get some practice in before the races. The website won't let me sign up in A though, and I is no place for race practice.

Use Tom's truck. I'm sure he'll let you use it. It's not he's using it. I know it sucks for him, but seriously.

That's good customer service Ron.

What's your experience with sprocket ratios on your 1000 at RA?

One down in the front is a good start. The individual's pace will determine the correct rear sprocket.

One down? You mean one up in the front rite?

I have the largest sprocket I could find on the front on my SV and the smallest one I could dig up on the back. With how long the straights are you want more gear.

i had a blast running RA yesterday.....saw dan and rob, ron and met a few other CR's ...saw carol again for the first time since grattan.....got video from the track....i love riding this track....because its so big, when you think you've gone as fast as you can go, someone tells you something you can improve on, and you just keep getting faster....now if only i can get canada corner the same every time

hey, how much faster is A than I with nesba....cuz im not saying im any good or anything, but there were maybe only like 4 guys in I that were smoother or faster than me, and i tend to learn more following someone better than me, so you see how to enter a turn or where they brake...versus trying to keep the guy weaving all over the carousel from sideswiping you, or the one who hits the brakes before turn 4 for turn 5.............

but i have to admit, you feel like you're running better when you're passing a lot of people, versus getting passed all the time

Thats kinds of a perspective thing. There are fast guys on 600's. There are fast guys on 1000's. There are amazing riders on 1000's. Then the week before AMA, we had people like Geoff May out there. It's amazing how slow you feel when Geoff dusts you like your in the B group. The A group is the big pond. If Nicky Hayden came out, he'd be in A. How much faster would he be?

Hey Jesse - hope you had fun up there. I think based on his avatar he's got a red bike. You may have been riding with Wally if it was the green R1. See ya at blackhawk.
